Ingredients for a 20×20 tray / serves 8:
For the chocolate cake:
2 tbsp flaxseed
6 tbsp water
200 gr. dark chocolate
60 gr. water
150 gr. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
50 gr. cacao
100 gr. Mayo Vegan Sauce by Condito The Green Line
For the chocolate sauce:
100 gr. dark chocolate, finely chopped
150 gr. oat milk (or other plant based milk)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 160 oC with the fan on. Prepare the cake mould you will be using. Place the flaxseed in a small bowl and add the 6 tbsp of water and mix. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Place the chocolate in a small pan, add the 60 gr. of water, and leave it on low heat, stirring, until the chocolate melts. Let it cool to room temperature. Sieve the flour, cacao, and baking powder. Add the flaxseed mixture which you prepared earlier and the Mayo Vegan Sauce.
Transfer the mixture to the mould you prepared and bake for about 20 minutes with the fan on or until well baked. Prepare the chocolate sauce. Boil the oat milk (or whatever other drink you are using), add the dark chocolate, and mix until it is well melted.
As soon as the cake is ready, you can serve it. Cut it into pieces and add the chocolate sauce on top. Optionally, you can add some red fruits.
