Ingredients for 2 sandwiches:
For the sandwiches:
2 roasted red peppers cut into strips
4 slices of bread
2 tbsp Italian style grated Vegan Cheese Alternative by Condito The Green Line
some finely chopped lettuce
For the basil sauce:
2 tsp basil pesto
2 tbsp Mayo Vegan Sauce by Condito The Green Line
Method:
Prepare the basil sauce. In a bowl, mix the basil pesto with the Mayo Vegan Sauce. Preheat the oven to 180oC with the fan on.
Then prepare the sandwiches. Spread the sauce you made on the bread slices, add the roast peppers, the Italian Style vegan cheese, the finely chopped lettuce, and roast in the oven for about ten minutes. Alternatively, you can toast the sandwich in a toaster or in a frying pan, using no fat, on medium heat.
When the bread has been toasted and the Italian Style vegan cheese has melted, cut it in half and serve.
